Service Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sourcing, planning, managing and monitoring of project sites focusing on performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and subordinates competency skill & behavior whilst on duty.
  • To consistently improve the service quality
  • Responsible for nurturing a healthy network of client relationships, to provide solutions to meet client’s needs, advise a new plan, actively seek client’s feedback, and gather market information back to the company.
  • Adhere and comply with company ISO 9001 processes and ensure all activities and materials meet with relevant organizational and statutory policies
  • To recruit, monitor and manage a team of professional service crew, providing guidance and nurture leadership amongst subordinates
  • To plan and prepare daily and monthly schedule, highlight key areas of the premises receive priority in the schedule.
  • To monitor accurate registration of attendances at all project site and the rescheduling or re-deploy of service crew to cover absences or where necessary
  • To ensure all site job task carry out accordingly
  • To prepare schedules, Gantt chart or checklist before the commencement of any new project site.
  • To conduct site visit and site inspection at all project site
  • To ensure all tools, material, equipment & machinery are clean and store in a proper manner, the number of machinery at the site are correct according to site requirement.
  • To monitor stocks of cleaning equipment and materials in order that orders can be placed on a timely basis and according to the budget allocated.
  • To ensure that cleaning chemical are mixed in correct and safe quantities
  • To assist in handling suppliers & sub-contractors, which include janitorial, toiletries, landscaping, handyman & pest control services at the project site.
  • To produce weekly and monthly reports to include subordinates over time, staff turnover, training record, employee evaluation, safety incident report
  • Assist in performing Supervisor duties in cases of emergency or shortage / absentism. To attend to any ad-hoc or emergency call at project site eg. flood, fire – disaster recovery
  Job Requirement:
  • Minimum SPM or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years and above working experience as a Service Officer or equivalent in a cleaning or other service industry
  • Proficient in Bahasa Melayu and English, with good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to relate work and communicate effectively with people at all levels, a relationship-oriented person.
  • Good knowledge of computer must be able to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness, the ability to plan and manage work in an efficient manner, and the ability to work well under stress and time pressures.
  • Humble, disciplined, proactive, hardworking, attention to detail and willing to travel.
