Regional HRBP
Description
Job Scope:
- Support Regional HRBP of commercial on strategic projects for people strategies, organization design, performance management, organizational culture, employee engagement and labor relations
- Work with Regional HRBP of commercial to drive and facilitate the communication of the organization’s desired culture, vision and values which guide the decisions and actions of the business
- Partner with Regional HRBP of commercial to assess current and future people needs for the organization and develop plans to meet those needs
- Drive high-quality and timely implementation of global, regional initiatives in line with business operation to support the business growth
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and duties assigned
- Be the point person for Compliance programs and lead an informal team nominated from countries
- Working together with the legal team to communicate the requirements associated with all applicable HR-related legal/regulatory and compliance programs
- Stay abreast on all employee-related legislative and regulatory changes and/or developments, and ensure changes to rules and regulations are restructured with HR systems, policies, articles, and practices
- Collaborate with other functional areas like Legal unit and other stakeholders in the delivery of compliance programs and training to employees
- Manage the day to day HR operations in Malaysia in full spectrum of HR functions
- Review and reinvigorate local HR policies and guidelines to further streamline HR processes
- Ensure full legal compliance and/or alignment to corporate HR guidelines
- Partner Malaysia business leader to drive business success through people initiatives
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Labor Relations or related field
- 5 - 8 years of human resources management experience in a multinational company
- Legal / Accounting / Auditing certification or experience is a plus
- A hands-on, self-starter HR leader with strong influencing and conflict resolution skills
- Able to act as effective change agent in business integration/restructuring
- Proactive, adaptable and with the ability to thrive amongst ambiguity in a highly matrixed organization
