Contract Accountant

Description

Job Description:

  •  To ensure the finance / accounting requirements are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner, while ensuring compliance with local legal guidelines and policies 
  • Ensure the accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the company’s accounting policies & process, country law and IFRS standards

  • Ensure timely; accurate and efficient bookkeeping process

  • Assist with the preparation of accounting schedules and management reports
  • Responsible for staff claims, inter-company billings and payment processing
  • Assist in providing information / audit schedules to the internal auditor and external auditor during the audit

  • Ensure compliance with both legal and tax requirements
  • Provide financial analysis and project support for Projects / initiatives as a supporting member as and when required

     

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree majoring in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification 
  • 3-5 years of relevant working experience
  • ERP knowledge and experiences required, SAP exposure preferred
  • Strong in Microsoft Office Application, particularly MS Excel
  • Ability to work with tight timelines
  • Hands on and willing to deal with details
