Penang, Customer Service Manager

Description

Job Descriptions: 

  • Lead a team by coaching & guiding them to meet the company‚Äôs order processing system.
  • Show exemplary problem-solving behavior by coordinating with various colleagues across the organization (Locally in Malaysia, within SE Asia & across the globe).
  • To be responsible for the S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning) process to ensure the availability of the right quantity with the right quality.
  • Take ownership through the company's ERP software for seed processing and allocation, based on business priority to ensure 100% On-Time fulfillment of sales orders.
  • Quality Inventory Management- conduct re-germination test to ensure good quality of seed in Inventory, monthly reporting the seed expiry status to the commercial team, and manage physical and virtual Inventory in all relevant warehouses.
  • Support Head of Seed Operations for the follow-up and suggest improvement to prevent claims and quality issues.
  • Process the orders through the ERP software system according to a fixed procedure.
  • Establish the appropriate way of transportation based on the instructions present regarding the available transporter and the urgency that is estimated according to the feedback of the customer and the sales department.
  • Taking care of the actual shipment with the transport companies, in consultation with the customer & Sales Manager.


Job Requirements:

  • Graduate with more than 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in team management.
  • A person having experience in international trade would be given preference.
  • Attention to detail. Works accurately, especially about order data entry to avoid incorrect dispatch documents.
  • Should have good knowledge of basic international trading, invoicing & planning principles.
